At this time of year, we pause and reflect on what is truly important, how we should prioritize, and what of our pursuits have eternal value. If I sense a theme in my own life for what lies ahead, it is “Christmas all year long”.
I LOVE being your Pastor and we love serving you all so much – mostly because we love and serve Jesus. When we love others and put them first, it pleases our Lord.
With Jesus, love is a verb. In almost every case, it is not emotions or feelings that comprise Jesus’ love to others. It is demonstrated by actions of love and ministry – thought out, Holy Spirit directed and purposeful action!
Let’s make a consistent effort this whole coming year to let God guide us to works of goodness, kindness, and love. Let’s be His Church, His beautiful Bride. Even if we don’t feel beautiful, He calls us so. Who are we to argue?
Let’s bless Him with our love to Him, to each other, and to the world. This is honestly the only gift He cannot have without our active desire to give it. What gift can we give to a God Who has everything? Our love, our hands, and our hearts in devotion to Him Who is Worthy!
Merry Christmas today and everyday and God’s rich blessings upon you ALL!
