In some Christian circles, the role of the Holy Spirit is under-taught or simply ignored. This is counterproductive to the mission of the church and the growth and blessing of the individual. From Genesis, where “the Spirit of God hovered over the water” (His role in Creation), to His place as the “Paraclete” (one who comes along-side to help), to His dwelling within the spirit of every true believer in Jesus Christ, His ministry and place within the Church today is of utmost significance. This study will expose and clarify the Spirit’s purpose, desire, and place within the world, the Church, and the life of the born-again believer.
